Chukki Starr first served his musical apprenticeship as mic-man for NW London local heroes Echo Tone Hi-Fi before relocating to Jamaica to connect with his roots and gain invaluable experience on the West Kingston sound system circuit. On his return to the UK Chukki made an immediate impact with his Mad Professor produced debut album ‘Ghetto Youth Livity’ sensationally holding down the UK number one spot for five weeks. In 2010 Greensleeves released ‘Most Wanted’ a choice collection providing an essential round-up of some his finest recordings.
