For the release of Alexander Newman’s brand new, expanded second edition of ‘Greensleeves: The First 100 Covers‘, we took over Rough Trade in Soho for a night of authentic Roots, Rock, Reggae, Rubadub and Dancehall to celebrate the Greensleeves musical legacy.
Label co-founder Chris Cracknell was in attendance as well as long-time visual collaborator Tony McDermott, plus nuff Greensleeves friends and family including Don Letts, Daddy G (Massive Attack), Trevor Nelson, David Corio, Patrick Donegan (Reggae Regular), General Saint and many more.
Our collaboration with Brixton Brewery was also revealed on the night, the ‘Original Rockers’ beer with two different designs to collect, the perfect accompaniment to the crucial vinyl-only selection from Greensleeves Hi-Fi.
