Although King Kong’s first release was for Tuff Gong it was his link up with the legendary King Tubby that really led to King Kong’s Empire State Building size status. Those initial Firehouse hits lit the spark that became a raging firestorm when Kong moved into Jammy’s Waterhouse camp to voice a string of massive dancehall hits. Badda then a bull in a pen the release of his hit Greensleeves album ‘Trouble Again’ confirmed his status as true wonders of the dancehall age. Solid albums for Bunny Lee as well as Ossie Hibbert followed along with the killer Chris Cracknell/Patrick Donegan UK produced Greensleeves 12” ‘Paro Them Paro’.
