Despite having had only a very short recording career Deborahe still managed to make an incredible impact on the world. Tunes like ‘Knight In Shining Armour’, ‘Falling In Love’ and ‘When Somebody Loves You Back’ are revered as classics amongst the Lovers Rock & Rare Groove community, however when she started working with Gussie Clarke her music went global. ‘Don’t Test Me’, ‘Give Me That Touch’ and ‘Champion Lover’ still get a big response in the Dancehall to this day but perhaps the biggest shot was Glasgow’s duet with the mighty Shabba Ranks on the original cut of ‘Mr. Loverman’.
